A new piece of Elton Johns new suit, with a unique design by Japanese designer Koji Saito, will make its public debut on Saturday, December 12 at Tokyo Fashion Week.
The suit, which features a patterned fabric and a matching collar, has been inspired by Elton’s fashion sense and the look he chose to wear when he first arrived in Japan in the late 1970s.
The suit features a white shirt, black trousers and a black tie, which is the same as that worn by the star, according to Saito.
The star was wearing a black suit at the time, and the new piece is the first time that the star has worn a white suit in a piece of fashion.
It will be available for purchase on December 13.
“I decided to do something unique,” Saito told a Japanese television channel.
“When I was a young kid, my dad was wearing white suits and he was the type of man who liked to look like he was in a high-class restaurant,” Sudo said, according of a Japanese news outlet.
“I wanted to give my father a suit that would give him that same look, but I wanted to go beyond the usual suits and accessories, so I decided to make the suit myself.”
The jacket was made by a Japanese tailor and was designed to resemble Elton john, who wore it at a number of events before his death in 2011 at the age of 74.
The fashion house, known for its high-end couture and fine art work, has also teamed up with Japanese designers such as Takahashi to create the Elton J-Stars.
The Elton Johnson Collection is a fashion brand run by Saito and his brother, Ken.
The pair first worked together in 2004, when Saito helped Saito with a project to create a line of bespoke suits, according a statement on the brand website.
The two brothers have worked together on numerous projects, including a collaboration with designer Hideo Nishigaki, and also designed the jackets worn by Elmo, and his son, Nick.
