The average price of home furnishings is expected go up by Rs 4,000 in 2020, to Rs 7,500.
This is mainly due to the fact the increase of the industry in India.
According to PwT, in 2020 the average price per square metre of home furnishments is expected increase by Rs 1,100 to Rs 2,700, an increase of Rs 6,000 from the year before.
While prices are expected to go up, the main factors that are driving the increase are rising costs and the trend towards home-style furnishings becoming more and more popular.
These factors have been observed across many markets, including the UK, Japan, France, the US, Canada, Singapore, South Africa and Australia.
While the demand for these home-styled furnishes is growing, the fact is that the quality of the materials and the quality control of the furnishes are also getting better.
According PwE’s study, in the United States, the quality is of the highest standard and the number, quality and the manufacturing process of the products is the best.
The quality of materials and quality control are also improving.
PwA’s survey also showed that, while in the US the quality can be considered excellent, there are areas where it is not good enough.
